Owing to the time-intensive work involved in putting them all together, there were a couple of recent features and articles here on S4E that I didn’t want to be lost in the mountain of individual posts, or forever as in the case of the recently removed Book of Favourite Things. So, I’ve spent the last few days collating them and converting them into pdf documents – as much for my own satisfaction as it is for the convenience of anyone wishing to read them.
I didn’t alter much, though embedded tracks and videos weren’t able to be ported so in some cases I just replaced them with still images and included a hotlink to the video, which made a few things sound odd out of context of the blog etc, but t’was a mild concession. Formatting isn’t perfect either, but it gets the job done – when testing them, I found viewing at 75-100% the most aesthetically pleasing, just as an aside.
The Australian Music feature contains a couple of extra bits n’ pieces I worked on at the time but never published, like 10 of the worst Australian songs, and full lyrics to the couple of songs where they were referenced.
